Removal of mangroves along rivers of the Eastern Coast of Queensland started taking place in the 1950’s to 1970’s. This has caused flooding to worsen along the coastal regions and a natural resourceful ecosystem for the animals to be destroyed. I am painting the Mangroves of Wooli NSW and the animals you can find in this area. These mangroves control the tides and are full of so many species of animals.
